‘Featured Artist,’ Trampled By Turtles, “Alone”

Today’s “Featured Artist and Song of the Day” showcases Duluth, Minnesota’s own, Trampled By Turtles, with their new song, “Alone,” off their yet to be released album, Stars and Satellites, which is set to be released on April 10, 2012, through Banjodad Records/Thirty Tigers.  The album can be pre-ordered here.  The talented group of musicians consist of Dave Simonett, Erik Berry, Dave Carroll, Tim Saxhaug and Ryan Young.

The much anticipated record was made in the northwoods of Minnesota, in a cabin in the woods.  The majority of it is done live, and it suits them well, for it is when they are at their best.  Below is the song, “Alone,” along with a behind the scenes video of the making of their album, along with some interviews.  April 10th can’t come soon enough for music fans.
