Today’s “Featured Artist and Song of the Day” showcases the duo, known as The Milk Carton Kids, with their song, “New York,” off their album, Prologue.  All of their music, this album included, can be downloaded from their website, for FREE.  The album from start to finish is amazing, and for it to be had at no cost is truly amazing.  The duo of Joey Ryan and Kenneth Pattengale, accompanied by their 1951 Gibson J45 and
1954 Martin 0-15 guitars, are currently on tour on the West Coast, head out East, and then have some shows in the Midwest in March.  Be sure to check out their tour dates to catch a show.

Ryan and Pattengale are true troubadours, criss-crossing this mad world with their guitars, playing music in venues both near and far.  Their talents mold together so well its seems like a singular voice.  That is a testament to them as musicians.  2011 was a great year for The Milk Carton Kids, and 2012 looks even brighter.  They’ll be a duo to continue to follow as the meander down the troubadour’s road.

For updates, tour dates, and other news click on their website, you can download all their music for FREE here, and can follow them on their Facebook Page.  The Milk Carton Kids have tour dates throughout the US through March.  Be sure to check out a live-show.  Colorado awaits their next stop.  Until the next show, or until the next time you’ll be able to listen to them, here is The Milk Carton Kids, with their song, “New York,” enjoy,
