Today’s “Featured Artist and Song of the Day” showcases Duluth, Minnesota’s, Sarah Krueger, with her song, “Ships and Trees,” off her new album, Dancing With Phantoms, which was released November 25, 2011.  This is a follow-up to her first release, Running EP.    The talented musician is often accompanied by Nate Case, Kyle Keegan, Caleb Anderson, and Brian Wells.

Krueger has been a staple in the Duluth music scene, and with this album, is sure to spread her wings.  You’ll quickly see, in the featured video below, the power of her vocals, and her ability on the guitar.  The video was done by the North Shore Sessions, who feature local and regional artists around the Duluth area, performing in unexpected locations.  Krueger’s video found her in an old, abandoned building in Duluth, which housed a couple of friendly birds.

Krueger is set for an incredible 2012, and is an artist to be sure to continue to follow as she make her way down the troubadour’s road.

For updates, tour dates, and other news click on her website, you can buy her music on iTunes, and follow her on her Facebook Page.  She is set to play at UMD Kirby Rafters, January 18, 2012, at 8:00 p.m., in Duluth.  Until the next time you’ll be able to see a show or listen to her, here is Sarah Krueger, with her song, “Ships and Trees,” enjoy,
