‘Featured Artist,’ Reed Foehl, ‘Once An Ocean’

Today’s “Featured Artist and Song of the Day” showcases the Boston native, but now Denver based, Reed Foehl, with his song, “Once An Ocean,” off the album with the same title.  This follows his solo albums Spark (2004) and Stoned Beautiful (2007).  He is set to head to Vancouver, Canada, in February, to record a new album, which is highly anticipated, and hopefully will be released in late spring.  The Troubadour’s Road will be sure to feature new songs and album links, as well as publish spring tour dates when they are made available.

Foehl is a true troubadour, and as his song’s play, you quickly realize his ability as a songwriter.  It is a craft, and an art, and that is how it should be.  The words Foehl puts down on the page are good words, and the music world is fortunate in that he presents them in form of a song.  2011 was a great year for him, and 2012 looks to be even better.  He’ll be one to keep a close eye on as he continues down the troubadour’s road.

For updates, tour dates, and other news click on his website, you can get his music on iTunes, and follow him on his Facebook Page.  The next Colorado show will be in Fort Collins, at the Bellvue Bean, Saturday, March 3.   Until then, or until the next time you’ll be able to listen to him, here is Reed Foehl, with his song, “Once An Ocean,” enjoy,
