I wrote on November 14, 2011, “I have a feeling that Of Monsters and Men will be on the world’s radar very soon, and will be a band to continue to follow as they venture down their musical road.” They are, indeed, on the world’s radar, and deservingly so.
These words find their place in the song, “Little Talks,”
“Hey! Hey! Hey!
There’s an old voice in my head that’s holding me back
I tell her that I miss our little talks
Soon it will all be over, buried with our past
You used to play outside when you were young,
Full of life and full of love
Some days I feel like I am wrong and I am right
Your mind is playing tricks on you my dear
‘Cause though the truth may vary
This ship will carry
Our bodies safe to shore…”
